Krish Ashok

Krish Ashok, author of the bestseller Science of Indian Cooking book - Masala Labs is the Global Head of Digital Workplace at TCS.He helps large organisations reimagine the future of work for their employees via approaches like social collaboration, persuasive design, digital nudging, knowledge experiences, and workplace creativity. A graduate of Delhi University, Krish is a columnist, classical violinist, guitarist, and cellist. His music is accessible on Soundcloud here. He also writes about Indian food, and his book — Masala Lab.

Varun Gupta

A proud Navrachanite, Varun Gupta, who is the CEO and co-founder of Max Marketing, is a crazy, fanatic and passionate person whose heart beats for Bollywood. While we watch and appreciate films and cinema, Varun literally lives them 24×7. Having done Bachelors of Business Administration from MSU, Varun completed Masters in Marketing & Communications from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and Executive Course from IIM Calcutta. Thereafter, his professional career kickstarted with promoting Marathi Films, which was followed by over 3.5 years of rich 360-degree experience of film marketing at the coveted Dharma Productions.

Some weird risk taking abilities and the discomfort in luxury made him decide on venturing into a creative marketing studio for Bollywood. This heralded the birth of MAX Marketing. Having marketed over 110 films, he has also been the Producer of two films- Ramsingh Charlie and Cutputtli.

Some of the marketing campaigns designed by Varun and his team include blockbusters like Padman, Kabir Singh, Saaho , Street Dancer , Pushpa, RRR, Rocketry, Bhool Bhulaiya 2 & the very recent ones include Ek Villian Returns, Vikram Vedha, Good Bye , Drishyam 2 and Adipurush. Varun Gupta is the marketing man behind some of our most- loved movies. The recipient of reverred National Award for Best Marketed Film for Padman, Kabir Singh, Street Dancer 3D, Dhindora, Pasha The Rise, RRR, Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and Drishyam 2, Varun Gupta's projects in pipeline include Salaar, Animal and Merry Christmas this year.

Anil Srinivasan

Founder of Kruu, 'Kalaimamani' Anil Srinivasan is one of India's most renowned musicians. With an M.Phil from Columbia University and a strong background in cognitive neuroscience, Anil has been spearheading a revolution in Creative Intelligence through Rhapsody, founded by him in 2013.
Rhapsody currently reaches over 477 schools in South India as the first in-curriculum Art Integration and Creative Intelligence program. Rhapsody was ranked #1 worldwide in 'Innovation in Learning' by ReImagine Education - an initiative of Wharton Learning Labs in 202. As a philanthropist and changemaker, he is an Aspen Global Leader and has been involved in various community initiatives and active social work. He is also an Associate Professor of Practice at Kruu and design thinking & interdisciplinary arts.

Anil Challa

Dr. Challa obtained his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (Varanasi, India), and a PhD degree in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University (Columbus, OH, USA). His doctoral research involved the identification and characterization of receptor proteins involved in embryonic development, especially axon guidance during neuronal development, using the zebrafish as a vertebrate model system. He received postdoctoral training in glycobiology at the University of California at San Diego, RNA biology at The Ohio State University and Vascular Biology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

He co-founded a start-up biotechnology company in Hyderabad, India (Indigenèse Biotechnology) where he set up the laboratory and directed the education and outreach activities. He then did a short stint as a Senior Research Scientist at the Institute of Life Sciences (now Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences) in the University of Hyderabad Campus where he established the zebrafish facility to support research in drug discovery and testing.

As a Visiting Scientist at the Greehey Children’s Cancer Research Institute, UT Health Sciences Center (San Antonio, TX, USA) and at Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences (Hyderabad, India), he was involved with generating genetic models of zebrafish to study human disorders.

As the Assistant Director of the Transgenic and Genetically Engineered Models (TGEMs) Core facility at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, he initiated in vivo gene manipulation using TALEN and CRISPR technologies. He continues as an Adjunct Professor of Biology, engaged with collaborative research projects in redox biology, pulmonary biology, juvenile diabetes, and undergraduate biology teaching.

He contributes to research and teaching activities and as a Senior Scientist at the Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence in Delhi NCR.

Umang Jaiswal

Umang Jaiswal, a Navrachana School Alumni is a director, script writer and song writer - a true blue Navrachanite who wears many hats! Majoring in film direction, she studied at Prague Film School and has worked with notable names of the industry ever since. With direction credits in shows like Whistleblower, Saad Bahu aur Flamingo and Lust Stories 2, she’s managed to climb the steep hierarchical industry ladder in a very short span of time.

Having directed 2 seasons of a non fiction reality talk show with the stalwarts of the film industry, music videos and a bunch of advertisements, Umang has made her presence felt with her energy and enthusiasm. Charismatic, unafraid to speak her mind and unabashedly true to herself, Umang believes that hard work has no substitute!

Lt. Col. DD Goel

Lt. Col. DD Goel is a motivational speaker and soft skills trainer, hailing from Mumbai and educated in Panchgani. He holds an impressive academic record. He completed his post-graduation in Psychology from Dept of Psychology, Mumbai University and went on to obtain a Master's degree in Personnel Management from Pune University. Lt. Col. DD Goel's passion for education led him to further pursue B.Ed. and acquire a Ph.D. in Psychology. Before his distinguished military career, Lt. Col. DD Goel served as a lecturer of Psychology at SNDT University in Mumbai and as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Applied Psychology at Mumbai University. His extensive experience in academia provided him with a deep understanding of human behaviour, soft skills, and personal development.Lt. Col. DD's military journey showcases his resilience. As a Battle Casualty and War wounded soldier, he overcame his life challenges to inspire others. He has participated in various adventure sports, including paragliding, bullet expeditions, half marathons, long-distance swimming, and skiing. Lt. Col. DD Goel holds a name in the Limca Book of records for Paraglifding. His dedication and determination earned him the Chief of Army Commendation.
